I first attended a workshop to learn how to make soap to expand my skillset. I wanted to learn something that would be useful to us if we were to lead a life of self-sufficiency and I saw a class for soapmaking and went that evening. It's been a lot of trial and error to come up with the recipes I'm using and a couple useful tips from seasoned professionals but I'm happy to say it has paid off and now with experience, I am pleased to announce that others come to me for the same tips I once sought out as a beginner!
My background is in environmental conservation and education so needless to say it's important to me to provide people with product options that are safe for the environment and safe for our bodies. I am a mom of 2 under 2 and it is very important to me that natural alternatives are explored when it comes to body products.
